Program Self-Assessment Plan (2023-2025)
The PPGEL's self-evaluation process began in September 2023 as an ongoing initiative to monitor and improve program quality through collaborative reflection and data analysis. This internal assessment complements external CAPES evaluations by focusing on both academic processes and outcomes. The program conducts regular reviews involving faculty, students, staff, and alumni to identify strengths and areas for development. A dedicated Self-Evaluation Committee coordinates with other program committees to establish short and long-term improvement goals aligned with national standards. The flexible evaluation framework allows for adjustments based on implementation results, ensuring the program remains responsive to stakeholder needs while maintaining compliance with CAPES requirements for Linguistics and Literature graduate programs. This reflective practice serves as both a quality assurance mechanism and strategic planning tool for continuous program enhancement.
